I liked watching Monty Python's Flying Circus, but really enjoyed The Holy Grail and Life of Brian. I've grown to realize that American Pie is a sorry excuse for comedy which is targeted at emo kids in their mid-20's who still believe they're 15 and in their high school heyday.

I love comedies and was told that Monty Python is SO funny. While watching it, I almost feel asleep. I don't see the humor in it. I feel one of the most overrated comedies of all time, right next to Blues Brothers and Animal House.
