Don't worry, there will be plenty of mock drafts between now and then that will (hopefully) show how goofy some of the moves in this one were, 16-team or no. And Reyes at 2 was one of them. :-D

id take teix before konerko. Also, Konerko has always been under rated. You take take him in the later rounds.

I don't know about a huge drop off, you might be forgetting Tiex in there. 2nd half of the season was a reminder not to sleep on his bat, and I am targewting this kind of guy, as opposed to a Morneau-MVP hype, in hopes of getting him a round or two later than usual.

Additionally, I think Delgado is more like the 2005 .300 Carlos than the 2006 Carlos we saw. Worst case, I think we see him go similar power numbers but an average around .280, best case, I think we see him hit the .300 mark again....but thats just my .02

I did forget about Tex, I'd put him ahead of Konerko.

It's interesting, although as usual I disagree with a lot of the picks made.

Felipe Lopez first pick in the fourth round?! 8-o

Jeez.. Guillen in the fifth round as well. And then Bill Hall right after him.. that ought to make Mookie happy. :-B

Where do you find room for Hafner and Tex? 1 of them is probably trade bait.

The draft was set up to have a DH and corner infielder.
