I'm pretty sure there will be plenty of people waiting there too. For Xbox 360, people were at every store possible (Target, BB, Circuit City, WalMart, etc.)
Yeah, I already checked out the Best Buy and Wal-Mart... the Best Buy was only getting 20, and there were already 20 people waiting in line 42 hours before the release. Then at Wal-Mart, they were getting a minimum of 10, and prolly a max of 15. There were 12 people in line and we were like, there's no freaking way I'm going to wait two days on the chance I get one. So I guess I'm going to be getting a PS3. Sony is a joke!

I'm goin to my local best buy around 5 PM tomorrow and hoping to make some Dough off of it on ebay so i can buy the system at a discounted price.
theres no hoping involved..if you get one, you are guarenteed 100 % profit...yoda you are so bitter....how bout you dont get this thread locked too...
I'm not bitter. If I wanted to spend $3000 for a system, then I could buy one today. I just think it's ridiculous that you guys are only buying it to profit off of it. Have fun sleeping on the sidewalk in the cold with a bunch of dorks...
Plus I have a real job. I don't have to involve myself in quick money making schemes to make a few bucks.

We're talking $2,400. Basically, you sleep on the sidewalk for a night and you can buy a huge HDTV and a nice Gibson Les Paul. I'd do it.

My roommate and I went to Target today at 10 am and found out they were only getting 8 ps3's. So we decided to wait in our cars, like the security guard told us to until 10 pm that night (actually, we took the bus down there cuz we have no car/ride). Long story short, there were 300+ people there and they had to do a lottery for the 8 and my roommate won! We agreed before hand to split it if one of us was lucky enough so that one of us didn't get screwed. If we came home emptyhanded though, I would've been pissed because a lot of people showed up around 9:30ish (like 80%) and basically made the situation uncontrolable to a point where the manager at Target had to institute a lottery, which we won!!!!
i went to k-mart thursday morning at 6 am and was first in line....2 of my friends didnt have the cash to buy it up front, so i put the money up for it and we went 50/50...i actually just got in now from getting my ticket which ill be going back to redeem now, and i already had one from a friend of mine who works at a special place
