Meaning the regular season...are they saving him for the playoffs? Harville came in for the save in yesterday's game and not Foulke. I'm asking this because I still have 3.2 innings left to work with and can still send one closer out every night until I Hail Mary on the last day. Thanks.

unsure about that...i think they won't keep him out till playoffs...

haven't heard anything concrete though.

Stupid me...I should've done a bit more research. He pitched 2 innings to pick up another win (9th of the year, he's almost a ten game winner. 8-o

). They probably kept him out because of his extensive work the day before.

I was just about to post the same thing. I went and looked at his game log. Probably just a day off to rest. Nothing to worry about.
