Not sure if they are just re-editing older Dexter episodes (great move) or if the show is moving exclusively to CBS network television (terrible move).

I read that it was merely a re-editing thing to have something to show during the writer's strike.

With this move (edited or not), maybe next time Dexter won't get crushed by Will Smith.

Watched the last two episodes.

They didn't disappoint. B-)

I had seen commercials for this show a few ties and thought the premise was interesting, so I decided to rent season 1 on Netflix, I'm 3 episodes in, and I think it's quite interesting. From a newcomers point of view, just the way things have been built so far allow for so many directions to go in, I quite interested in seeing how this character develops. Though it still seems a little creepy after each show, but I'm a fan of dark comedy, not that this is necessarily a comedy, but it has it's comedic aspects.

I was weak, and was afraid one of my friends would tell me the ending if I didn't do it, so I watched both episodes.

They were good. A bit surprising, but it was kind of the way I figured it had to go down.

Season 1 probably tops Season 2...but not by much.

My girlfriend just got me into this show recently, and in just a couple weeks I've watched both seasons, including the leaked finale.

She had already seen the first season, but she wanted to watch her new DVD set, so she started off watching most of them with me. However, she kept saying things like "oh watch this part", like I wasn't already watching, or "remember this part later". No, I planned on forgetting that scene immediately. I finally told her that if she couldn't keep quiet, I was going to put a needle in her neck.

Now that I've done it, I'm not sure watching it all so fast was really a good idea. Watching 3 or 4 episodes at a time lead to questions being answered before I even had a chance to really dwell on it.
Sometimes it takes a crazy person to see the truth. If so, I'm a freaking lunatic.

I'm going to wait for the final episode next week. It looks pretty good from the previews!

Funny how incorporate several characters from Oz - Batista (Morales), Doakes (Moses), Laguerta (Dr. Nathan)

I've been avoiding this thread for about a month. :-°

I just watched the final episode, but I won't be commenting on it until the weekend. O:-)

I feel that the explosive first 5 minutes of the finale would have been better suited at the end of episode 11 which I found lacking.

Great finale though. I kind of saw it coming but it was a real treat to watch. Bittersweet ending though; my two favorite characters are gone. :~( :~( :~(

Yeah, that was good!

I'm also glad to hear there will be a third season airing sometime in '08. ;-D

Season 3? Nice! Dexter was by far the best show on tv this year IMO. Season 2 was as good as season 1, if not better. Too bad Doakes is gone though.

I have to agree some of the things that happened in the finale were predictable, but that doesn't mean I'm disappointed. :-)
