All I know is that I'm sorry Sim's going to be out after the first round.

Ouch.. that poor Simlicrum's feelings are going to be pretty hurt..

Why couldn't I have gotten a first round match up with PWF or acs??

I think I gave you the next best thing.

I'm still working on finding a poker site that has everything I'm looking for. Here's what I've been looking for:

-holdem
-Play money (we'll play real games after the tourney is over and I see who is around my level)
-heads up
-I'd prefer a site where I can just use java but will download if necessary.
- games that last, on average, 30 minutes. I'm thinking 50/100 with 3000 starting chips
-I'd also want to begin each round with each player starting with the same # of chips. I suppose we could just double the starting amount each time as a natural progression, but I'd prefer not to get into games that last hours. It's just a simple, fun tournament.

Ok, with poker - it doesn't really matter if the blinds were 50/100 with 3000 chips or 25/50 with 1500, it is all about the ratio. To that end, blinds will need to increase, regardless, otherwise the heads up match would take forever. 15 minute levels seems fine.

As far as the site - I'm searching, but that could be a sticking point.
