Speakers

Postby KPucks » Mon Nov 06, 2006 9:33 pm

I am trying to find some decent speakers for my TV and that I can also plug my iPod and computer into to play music or videos from my computer. The only audio out I can find on my TV is AV cables, but there is another cable thing above that that might be for audio out (it is the Westinghouse 32" DVD combo which you can see at http://www.westinghousedigital.com/deta ... itemnum=49). Basically, I don't want to break the bank on these (less than $100 would be ideal). I've been looking around on newegg but I'm not sure what I need to be able to use them for my TV and iPod. Can anyone help me out?

Sure basically all you need is a little adapter.

Speakers for computers use the standard headphone to walkman plug but of course this won't work for TV's because they use the red/yellow or whatever AV Cables.

However, most computer speaker setups like my logitech come with an adapter that allows you to plug in the normal plugs into an adapter into AV cables into the TV.

I'll look for some examples

I think this has the adapter although you can probably find it at radio shack for like 2 bucks anyways

Logitech and creative make good computer speakers that you could use decently on your ipod and your computer
