Sounds like the character that shows up every year in those cheesy kids sports movies.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
God good thats horrible...Doesn't surprise me coming from the DC area though. Everyone there is frickin crazy . Everyone has to be the best at everything all the time.
Anyways that guy should be beaten up but a hitman or something. Its his league?? Does he own it?
If i'm the other coaches I coach anyways then beat him down on the field if he says no

I didn't know Pop Warner football leagues were owned by individuals. I thought they were all non-profits who had an elected official in charge. Also, I didn't know coaches could be "fired". Are they getting paid?
You have no frame of reference, Donny. You're like a child who walks into the middle of a movie...

I think these tournament based leagues are supposed to be non-profit, but they are; whoever runs the thing basically pockets what's left. I had a friend who made a pretty lucrative summer-job out of organizing and running software leagues. There was no "commissioner" though. This is much fancier than that; one of your DC-Suburb, hoity toity leagues where all the parents make too much money and drive ever-increasing-in-size SUV's. Commissioner is probably a big shot a-hole who thinks he can get away with what he wants... and he can.
I played little league; the coach's son sucked, but he played every game at shortstop even though he had the worst arm, and that was when he wasn't pitching. I played for a guy who had his son take double pitches during batting practice so he could practice "switch hitting." The kid was 12.
Oh well, it pisses me off too.
If you're a battery, you're either working or you're dead....

My dad used to coach/asst coach me in baseball for years. He was great he's a laid back guy and truly knows the meaning of only speaking when he has something worth saying.
Anyways when he didn't coach he would watch me from behind the fence in center field because he couldn't stand hearing the hoity toity Massive SUV driving parents belittle everyone .
