There are definately some funny lines, but overall I think it's a drama. I could be wrong.

Are Pulp Fiction and Resevoir Dogs dark comedies then? Because I think there is just as much comedy in those as there are in Swingers, but they are both pretty dark.

Swingers is definitely a comedy. A lot of the scenes are meant to be humorous. While there are some funny parts to Pulp Fiction/Reservoir Dogs, they would more likely fall into the action/drama genre rather than comedy.

i wouldnt say swingers is a dark comedy. swingers is part comedy/part drama. dr. strangelove is a dark comedy.
