there hasn't been one in a LONG time if ever, but if Jose Hernandez of the Milwaukee Brewers walked instead of striking out each time he did last year, he would be the best fantasy player ever!!!!

You mean .400 hitter? Ted Williams was the last - .406 in 1941. The record is something like .426

i think the nxt .400 hitter could come with age maybe we are over looking edgar martinez i think he could be the best hitter of his time

If you are talking .400 hitter, I think Helton or Bonds has the best chance.
Helton is a pure hitting machine and still topped .300 with a bad back. Bonds has a phenomenal eye and his problem may be getting the AB's to qualify for that sort of feat.
