That doesn't really apply, but of all people, Cheney's said some stupid things himself (and he shot a guy in the face).

I am actually thinking that it helps the Dems to have Kerry catching all this flak. While he was making noise about tossing his hat in the ring, he doesn't have the sort of rockstar cachet that they will need to take on Rudy or McCain or whoever the Republicans will trot out. Anything that keeps them hurling mud at Kerry is OK w/ me....
As to Kerry, that whole situation is just too funny. People actually wanted this guy as president?
