Imus pwns Kerry

Well, considering all the political stuff, I had to post this... Kerry said something absolutely moronic, and Don Imus lets him have it:

I liked Cheney's comments from a couple days ago regarding the "botched" joke. They were something along the lines of:

"First he was for the joke, then he was against it. Which is it Kerry?"

I'm not so sure, of all people, if Cheney really is in the best position to make any judgments on people saying stupid things...

"My belief is we will, in fact, be greeted as liberators." --March 16, 2003

"I think they're in the last throes, if you will, of the insurgency." -- on the Iraq insurgency, June 20, 2005

"There are a lot of lessons we want to learn out of this process in terms of what works. I think we are in fact on our way to getting on top of the whole Katrina exercise." --Sept. 10, 2005

So what's worse; flip-flopping on a statement when you know you were wrong, or standing by a statement that everyone knows is false?

That doesn't really apply, but of all people, Cheney's said some stupid things himself (and he shot a guy in the face).

"Go yourself." --to Sen. Patrick Leahy, during an angry exchange on the Senate floor about profiteering by Halliburton, June 25, 2004

Classy :-D

Jay Leno: “Last night, my doorbell rings. And I've got this kid standing there with his foot in his mouth. I said to the kid, ‘Who are you supposed to be?’ He said, ‘John Kerry.’”

I am actually thinking that it helps the Dems to have Kerry catching all this flak. While he was making noise about tossing his hat in the ring, he doesn't have the sort of rockstar cachet that they will need to take on Rudy or McCain or whoever the Republicans will trot out. Anything that keeps them hurling mud at Kerry is OK w/ me.... ;-D

As to Kerry, that whole situation is just too funny. People actually wanted this guy as president? :-b :-b :-b
