I could have a lot of value hitting in front of those two.

I think the Sox are going to bring Loretta back to play 2nd and play Pedroia at SS. No hard facts, just what I've been reading.

Why not the Tigers? They could move Guillen to first base . He is a FA after next year. They would be set at short for a few years with Lugo. Word is they will seek a top shortstop prospect when talking trades bracing for Guillens possible departure. Lugo would give them a top of the order guy and they could move Granderson to the nineth spot.

Lugo would be a much better #2 hitter than LoDuca, IMO.

Yeah this isn't how I'd do it just my opinion based on Randolph and Minaya's comments.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

I was just suggesting that this would be a good move for the Tigers. I didn't read it anywhere.
But in many cases deals come out of nowhere. We don't always hear about every team interested.

I actually heard rumors about the Tigers trading Bonderman in a package for Tejada then moving Guillen to 1B or DH. Seems kinda foolish to me but who knows.
