Does anyone do Sim Dynasty? If so, let me know what you think.

I happened to do a league a couple of years ago and placed first. I'm thinking about going back; however, I'm apprehensive.

Thoughts?

What's the league and why are you apprehensive?

I'm in a sim dynasty hockey league and it's quite fun. If there's a good one for baseball, I'd be interested.

There is one for Baseball. Would you want to join together? Anyone else interested?

Never heard of it before. Looked around the site and it looks pretty interesting. How much does it cost?

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

I tried it, but prefered Diamond Legends from Stats personally.

It is a pretty cool sim. have a budget to create a team using major league baseball players (Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, Eric Davis, Randy Milligan, ect.). You then join a 12 tean league and compete against other owners. The best record in each of the the 3 divisions and a wild card make the playoffs. The world series winner gets a free team.

it is pretty cool. you have think to think about things like OBP, Pitching, defense, Durability (Mickey Mantle for example is awesome with the bat, but is very injury prone).

If you think you would be a good GM, it is something you would likely find fun (at least i do).

Interesting...are you in a league already? Do you have any openings?

Simdynasty takes some getting used to. I tried to do a "balanced" draft and it ended up not taking any pitchers till something like round 14. My pitching is absolutely killing me (6.20 team ERA) and I have the second worst record in the league currently at 42-54. Nobody trades, so that's not an option. Probably the last (and first) one of these I do :-°
