Tease. I thought maybe someone went postal in the studio.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

If the best player at their position = clutch, and A-Rod is the antichrist to clutch, why does the pick of Wright surprise you?

1. D. Wrights slumping second half.
2. Miguel Cabrea had a much better year.

Why is the second half clutch? The Mets had the division wrapped up...

I haven't looked at his stats, but just because Wright slumped in the second half doesn't mean he didn't hit well with RISP and 2 outs. I think that's an obviously large factor in the choosing of each player.
