Webb, Brandon (RP, SP-Ari)

hoping to find an answer before 3am

mlb.com is saying Alverez is pitching Saturday against Giants.

Dodgers have a double header it looks

"Kevin Brown - S - Los Angeles Dodgers Sep 25

Kevin Brown gave up just one run in seven innings Wednesday against the Padres.
Brown didn't get a decision, but the Dodgers won in 11 innings. Brown will probably start on three days' rest Sunday if the Dodgers are still in the race. If they're eliminated, then Brown will finish the year 14-9 with a 2.39 ERA. " http://www.rotoworld.com

hmm

Hudson isn't going to pitch Sunday I bet too, the A's are in the playoffs they won't need him to pitch on 3 days rest.

Here's the list of who is pitching Sunday:

Washburn (Ana) vs Tex
Douglass (Bal) vs NYY
Wakefield (Bos) vs TB *
Loaiza (CWS) vs KC
Lee (Cle) vs Tor
Knotts (Det) vs Min
Lima (KC) vs CHW
Rogers (Min) vs Det
Wells (NYY) vs Bal
Hudson (Oak) vs Sea *
Moyer (Sea) vs Oak
V.Zambrano (TB) vs Bos
Towers (Tor) vs Cle

*With the A's clinching, Hudson almost certainly will be scratched from that start so he can pitch game 1 of the division series. Wakefield might also be scratched to pitch game 2, if BoSox clinch by then which they almost certainly will.

NL:
Webb (Az) vs StL
Reynolds (Atl) vs Phi
Wood (CHC) vs Pit *
Randall (Cin) vs Mon
Oliver (Col) vs SD
Willis (Fla) vs NYM *
Miller (Hou) vs Mil *
Alvarez (LA) vs SF
Sheets (Mil) vs Hou
Vazquez (Mon) vs Cin
Leiter (NYM) vs Fla
Millwood (Phi) vs Atl
Wells (Pit) vs ChC
Peavy (SD) vs Col
Schmidt (SF) vs LA *
Williams (StL) vs Ari *

*Schmidt almost certainly won't pitch this weekend. Willis, Miller and Wood could all be scratched if their teams have clinched playoff berths by Sunday. Woody Williams almost certainly won't pitch unless the Cards are miraculously still in it somehow.

The last I read, Maddux is supposed to pitch a few innings this weekend, although he's not listed to start. Can anyone confirm this?

Schmidt will pitch the first game of the playoffs, so J Will is starting Sunday.
