(under team needs)

New York Yankees:

Needs: 1B, SP, RP, INF
2007 commitments: $164.5M
2007 Projected: $200M
Spending money: Infinite

Alot of teams have infinite spending money but they chose to pocket it

Thanks for that inciteful contribution. :-t

Nice find, wr. ;-D

Spoken like a true Yankee fan.

Do you mean the way he misspelled "a lot" as "alot?"

Or maybe the way he mixed past and present tense?

I really like the Randy Wolf prediction.
Prediction: Signs 3-years, $18M deal with the Cardinals

I still think the Mets go after another SP. And I'm going to say Bonds ends up in Angels.

Soriano Prediction: Signs with the Angels for 6-years, $90M
Zito Prediction: Signs with the Dodgers for 6-years, $85 or with the Padres for 5-years, $70M
Carlos Lee Prediction: Signs with the Astros for 5-years, $60-65M
Schmidt Prediction: Signs with Mariners for 4-years, $48M

Wow. I think it's inevitable that the Angels get a big deal done this offseason. :~(

I think the Carlos Lee prediction is very good.....I can see him in Houston. ;-D

They will. The question is who...Zito? Schmidt? Pettitte? Mulder? Wow I just named 3 out of 4 lefties. If one of those landed that could possibly make Glavine, Perez, _____ in the rotation. 60% southpaws would be pretty crazy...

:-? why in the world would the Rockies want Dotel to close. He hasnt proven he can pitch on the major leagues since his return from TJ surgery and Fuentes has proven he is a good reliable closer.

The Rockies are indeed interested in Dotel. But there is no way he'd be the closer... more like the 8th inning man.
