Why is MLB.com in love with the Mets?

They had the divison locked up since April. I think it's a pretty outlandish statement to say that they're not the class of the East.

It's more confidence. He's got a great attitude, is always smiling, and is the most exciting player in baseball. I mean the dude runs a little under 20 miles an hour... around the bases. (Ran an inside-the-park HR in 14 seconds, do the math yourself if you're skeptical)

I mean, it's hard to NOT want to watch him play.


I can think of at least 10 hitters I would rather watch but that is just me. His speed is impressive but he isn't as exciting a hitter as others.
