It was a bit of an ugly series. I think both teams in the series were good and deserved to be there, but I don't think either team really played their best, especially the Tigers. That was a bit of a choke job at the end. Where's the defense? And the weather pretty much sucked regardless of where they played.
Congrats to the Cardinals. They hung in there and prevailed. Tigers looked like a team that did not want to win.
I loved that the Cards won, but yea it wasn't a very pretty series. I guess it was the inexperience of the Tigers?? The Cardinals didn't seem to get fazed and the Tigers seemed too on edge. Oh well, I loved it this year because it was my home team winning, but in honesty the series hasn't been exciting to a non-partisan fan since 2003.
