Shawn Green doesn't look hurt tonight

Postby jebatzel » Wed Sep 24, 2003 10:23 pm

Solo HR in the first inning!

Pulled me even with HRS, now tied 11 to 11.

Would be winning now, but Jason Kendall and Rual Ibanez both hit triples tonight for the other guy.

Somone here say Green was injured?

Green is injured, but I wasn't the one who said it earlier. B-)

"LATEST NEWS - September 17 - Previous News
Although Shawn Green said his damaged right shoulder continued to respond well to a Sept. 3 cortisone injection, he still plans to undergo surgery after the season. Green will stay in the lineup as long as the Dodgers stay in the wildcard hunt. "

guess some players focus more when they are hurt.

Dodgers still have chance for playoffs?

He still sucks this year... he batted under .200 last week. The only decent week he had all year was the one at Coors. The shoulder must really be bothering him.

I probably would be bitter if I drafted him, but I got him for next to nothing and he really helped my team get to the finals.

Although he has been hot lately, he has been hurt all year and has been a big disappointment. :-t
