oh.. the man crush...

have have a tendency to get caught up in these things... it's been Zack Greinke for a while.. since his 2nd season when I went to a game in KC when he used to throw the big looping curve. I have had him on my team every year since.. but then last year he went and put a whole good season togather. this year he got drafted way too early and now he's gone from my team.. i miss him.. I argued that I deserve him and other people shouldn't be allowed to draft him, but that didn't go over so well.. shhh.. it's ok though..

don't tell zack, but last year I was secretly emotionally cheating on him with Evan Longoria.. and it's a keeper league... Evan and I are gonna be together forever!!!!

for me it's Brian Roberts, ever since he did me a solid in 2005 when he hit 18 homers. going to college in baltimore at the time certainly helped. haven't had a surprise player like that ever since, so he's stuck around. i even forgave him his steroids. :-X

I drafted a middle reliever back in 2003 who had bounced around between starting and the bullpen the previous year, and I liked what I saw. We only keep one pitcher and one hitter on our squads each year, so my keeper pitcher, and subsequent man crush, since then has been Johan Santana.

As for hitters, I've found a way to get Carlos Lee on my team 4 out of 7 years, so he's a pretty good buddy. Last year I drafted Hanley though, so he could be my new keeper hitter/mancrush for the next 5 or 6 years if everything goes right.
Can't worry about tomorrow's pain tonight.

Must be a Mancrush or the fact that I love train wrecks but I draft Brett Myers every year. This will be the 5th year in a row, and possibly the first time he is not over vauled.
