Name your mancrush and how you fell in love...

Drafted Sheets in the 20th round 2004 and he dominated. Ever since then I can't keep him off my team.

Carl Crawford.

In my AL only league, I bought him for $50 last year, and although I currently don't have him on my roster( :,-(

come home Carl), I always wonder why peope don't value a guy who is solid in all cats and elite in the most difficult one!

aithfully ends upp on my team every single year, and I have drafted him snakewise as high as 3rd in a few of my leagues.....

besides the fact that he actually said he wanted to be the #1 fantasy baseball player a few years ago! That really did it for me!

Prior was mine for a while... I drafted him before he threw his first professional pitch and people were like "who the hell is he?"

But then I traded him in 04 for the playoff stretch and never looked back since.

Johan Santana. I had him on my roster several years ago when he was still a MR. My thinking? If they ever let this guy start, he's gonna be dominant. He's stuck on my keeper league team till he retires. Sorry, rest-of-the-league.

Lance Berkman.

Drafted him as a minor leaguer in one of my leagues and he hasn't left my roster since, though I've had to reaquire him several times when his contract has expired. That was a league where I had had little success before then and have won the league several times since. He's sort of my good luck charm in that league. Fortunately, the league doesn't seem to caught on yet, though. ;-)

Suddenly I am not so lonely. I had him in my keeper league every since he was a rookie. This will be the first year that I have not kept him.

Teixeira and Cabrera. Gotta love the young studs that can come into the league and dominate from the start.

Specifically with M-cab, I still remember checking Yahoo! every night for about 2 weeks around 4 AM to see if they added him to the database. And then keeping my fingers crossed hoping no one with a higher waiver priority placed a claim on him.
