I'm a blue blooded cubby fan and I still like Pujols. Don't think the media has it out for him either, but the 'roids report and this are making me think.

I just had to look at the stats, he's 2 for 12, 1 HR, 2 RBI. Not that I blame Leyland for walking him, I'd do the same....

yea i bet it's nice for a guy who is so young and so great to be able to get the world series win out of the way early.

I'm just saying. Thats his job his job isn't to be nice to people. Its to play baseball.

If the press wants to talk to him about things outside of his play on the filed so be it.

He can be a jerk. He's a ball player I pay to watch him playbaseball not to hear about how he made a Walmart employee cry

Don't you hate Barry Bonds for this exact reason though? :-?

I think it's hard to compare someone ignoring and not always being the nicest of a person to Barry Bonds. Barry is kind of on his own level of being a jerk.
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

Barry is a jerk to his teamates, to the fans, to the media, to everyone. I've never liked bonds ever since I saw do the whole pat yourself on the chest then catch the ball thing.

I also dislike bonds because I consider him a cheater. I don't really like Pujols either. I think he's arrogant etc...but his personal relationship with a scout isn't really news
