A traditional Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving, I've decided to do things a bit differently. To wit, I'll be flying down to Houston and meeting a couple of friends. From there, we'll drive down into Mexico and pretend to be rich developers looking for a place to put our new resort. We'll drink a lot of tequila. It should be more fun than listening to my family snipe at each other.

Anyway, here's the problem. I don't want to go to a border town. I want to go somewhere inland, hopefully near the water. Does anyone know that part of Mexico well enough to suggest an area?
