This is VERY bad news for Liriano owners (like me). They seem to have little idea what's wrong with him. At this point, its hard to see how he'll pitch much in 2007 if at all. If your draft or keeper lists are due any time soon, Liriano is now a late-round flyer.

I've already turned in my list with Liriano on it, but I have until Christmas to change it. I'll wait and see since I have time, but I'm already working through the process of choosing a replacement.

It's looking more and more every day like surgery is going to be required to fix this problem. He is back in Florida to analyze what direction he should go, but if nothing is figured out, he might be making the visit to Andrews.
Francisco Liriano will have his elbow chekced by Dr. Lewis Yocum in California on Friday.
This will be at least his fourth opinion. MRI tests have failed to discover a tear in his UCL, but because he's still experiencins soreness, he may opt for Tommy John surgery anyway.
