I didn't ..
for next season, I traded one year of Atkins @ $5.00 for two years of Chuck James @ $1.00 .. And David keeps running around like he got one over on me

the kid will be a good'un
I like James more in "real" life than in fantasy but he should be solid. I think I woulda taken Atkins in that deal though.......

....... depends on needs I guess...

Doesn't look like he will make the 215 IP and the 1.30WHIP but the Wins, ERA and SO numbers are all within reach.....he never did get his BB numbers under control otherwise I might have been money on this prediction.
Should be interesting to see how he finishes the season.
Not WR's problem. He sent James (plus a draft pick upgrade) on to me for a rental of Derrek Lee.

As a Braves fan I would love to have those numbers by the end of the season. I am thinking 12W, 4.20, 1.40 is more likely. Until he figures out how to pitch into games he's not going to be that good. Check this out:
AVG OBP SLG OPS
Pitches 1-15 .255 .328 .431 .759
Pitches 16-30 .180 .265 .262 .527
Pitches 31-45 .286 .343 .460 .803
Pitches 46-60 .227 .297 .348 .646
Pitches 61-75 .288 .343 .390 .733
Pitches 76-90 .362 .429 .660 1.088
Pitches 91-105 .367 .417 .900 1.317
He hits a wall at 80 pitches or so, so he tends to implode in the 6th inning. In fact, Bobby Cox took him out after the 5th inning of his last start after only giving up 1 ER.
