Kenny Rogers with pine tar on hand...???

I didn't watch the game tonight but a few forums are reporting this and it was mentioned that the baseball tonight crew discussed it. Supposedly Rogers had pinetar on his hand, LaRussa noticed it and notified the umpires and it was wiped off.

accoring to rogers it was a clump of dirt.

i was watching the baseball tonight crew during sportscenter and they showed a few instances of rogers using pine tar during games this season. it wouldn't surprise me if he was using it during this game.

It was definitely pine tar, and he was doctoring the ball. I wouldn't be surprised if he's been doing it for a long time, but it's tough to get away with something like that in a game like this with so many cameras.

yea, K-Rog's dominance seemed too good to be true. but then he still dominated after washing that crap off his hand. still, a lot of bubbles were burst tonight. i think we might see the real K-Rog in Game 6.
