I'm not giving you any suggestions, but I'll tell you what I'm going to do. I'm dressing as John Cusack's character from that movie where he holds the boombox over his head and Phil Collins is on the box. Girls love that movie. Of course, I'll have to actually see the film so I can get some of the mannerisms/character names down.
Halloween, as all of life, is just about impressing women.
Great idea, though the song was "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel, not Phil Collins. I used to get it confused also. Either way, great costume idea.

Are you sure that Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins are not the same guy? Because I'm about 80% sure I've never seen them in the same room at the same time...
Thanks though. That's the sort of information I'll need to really pull this costume off. I really should see that movie.

Marver is right. They both used to be in the band Genesis in the 70's, so I'm sure they were in the same room then...
But Gabriel is most definitely the person behind In Your Eyes...and yes, that is a universal favorite among the ladies...I think the movie was Say Anything, but I'm not entirely sure.

You don't mind if I use that outfit here too? I need to see the movie myself...I've only seen the South Park episode where Stan does it outside Wendy's window.
I believe a friend and I are going to a buddies party as Jay and Silent Bob. The fact I just have to find a white ball cap and a trench coat made the costume a no brainer.
How about this...tie a rope around your waist, and pull it out through the zipper of your pants. At the other end of the rope (the one hanging out your pants), tie a potato. That way, when people ask what you are, you can say, "I'm a dictator."
i'm going to steal this idea from one of the threads from a year or so ago. go as the premature ejaculation. the costume is just a pair of jeans. when someone asks you what you are, you respond: "I just came in my pants."
