Well, that's all I've got left in my roto league. It's crunch time and I'd like to have a bit left so I can do the Hail Mary thing later this week to try to get a few wins.

I figure that it'll be about this:

Hudson- 8?
Morris- 8?
Gobble- 7
Beckett- 7

That'd add up to 30...so I really don't know. If Hudson cruises, he gets CGs a lot. I'd like some input...thanks.

Well, if the 4 of them average 8 innings each, then you reach 32 innings. Personally, I'd roll the dice and start them all. I just don't think they will combine for that many innings.

Make sure you don't have any relievers going until you are ready for the "hail Mary".

I found out from Yahoo that you can collect all stats on the day that you exceed the innings limit. So if you have 1240 and pitch 4 pitchers on that day, they all go the limit and K 10, you'd collect 40 K's! ;-D

I found this out the hard way as a guy in my league ended up with 1268 innings pitched and collected 2 wins and 20K's on his last day.

So creep up on the limit then go for broke. ;-D

All 4 of them pitched 7 innings each. Total innings used: 28. You only have 3.1 innings left. Time to go for broke.

Does this strategy work for other positions as well? If you have one OF left but play three will you get one players stats or all?

I'd guess that you get them all. Not sure though, maybe someone else knows something more definite?
