Hm. I thought this thread was going to be about Beltran this winter.
Beltran had a fantastic year and a great post-season for the Mets, justifying his 2004 contract. What really is there to discuss? Because he was the last out in the series they're going to look to move him? Are you crazy??
0-3 to 4-3. Worst choke in the history of baseball. Enough said.

He has nothing to be ashamed of.
St. Louis played a great series, Suppan was masterful last night, and they didn't have Pedro Martinez.
They do need to add another younger arm to the rotation, but they'll be just fine.
