I know it's a bit early, but I'm trying to figure out my keeper situation and I was just wondering if anyone (Reds fans?) had any insight as to what position Dunn will play next year. I realize that he was almost exclusively in LF this year, but I also get the sense that he was something of a liability there. So I was just wondering if anyone knew/felt like speculating on how the Reds' depth chart is going to shake out.
Rotoworld wrote:Adam Dunn-OF- Reds Oct. 15 - 8:42 am et There continues to be a lot of speculation in Cincinnati that the Reds will try to trade Adam Dunn this offseason. Reds GM Wayne Krivsky, who worked with the Twins for 11 years, wants to cut down team strikeouts, increase average and doesn't mind losing some home runs in the process. With that mindset, Dunn is definitely a good candidate to be moved. Krivsky has already traded away three of the five hitters who struck out 100 times in 2005 - Wily Mo Peña, Austin Kearns and Felipe Lopez. Source: Cincinnati Enquirer
Houston (Dunn's hometown), Chicago Cubs, and LA Dodgers are supposedly interested

In all seriousness, though, I know that you're not a fan of Dunn fantasy-wise, but he is pretty valuable in real life because of how high his OBP is. The money is still a bit higher than I expected it would be, but I don't know that it's any less than he's worth in terms of real-life value.

He has virtually no defensive value and his OBP even slipped in his prime. I wouldn't exactly call 10.5M cheap for someone like him but oh well.
