Potentialy a good move for the Cubs, equal potential of it being a very bad one for Lou.

I like Lou and think he is a good manager but I don't see how this is a good fit.

I think the Cubs are better than people have them made out to be this year. Their talent is underrated. I wouldn't be at all suprised if Piniella made them contenders next season.

yea in the nl central that isnt saying much.

the cubs need major contributions from rich hill and mark prior.
they need a closer.
they need a leadoff man/centerfielder.
they need to resign aramis.

a team with those types of question marks who has a terrible farm system looks to be screwed to me.
