Like I said before.... this will change at least a little come time for next season as we find out correct lineups, trades, etc. Anyway, it is what it is for right now.....
As you get past the top 20 or so the order becomes less and less important and you pick more based on need or even personal favs because the order could go in anyway. This being a longer list I didn't take as much time to tweak everyone exactly where I think they should go but they're close enough for right now.

Looks pretty good. I'm really big on Baldelli next year so I give him a healthy bump. Rios, Alou, Willingham, should be on the list somewhere. And so should Roberts and Patterson if Taveras makes it.

I'm still not sure what to think about Baldelli just yet......
I did forget Rios on this list, I'd put him in the late 20's probably.
I didn't forget Alou..... And I do have Willingham and Alou/Roberts/Patterson in that "other" category just a couple spots down further, but really they are all interchangeable for me right now.

Thats with a quick one over.
Matsui is rock solid for .300 22-25 100-110rbi 100runs so I like him right where he is.
Wells is still a little up in the air for me as far as, is he going to continue on like this year or is he going to be fairly mediocore like years past.
Damon will more than likely end up with a few more runs than Ichiro, he will double him in HRs, score 20 more rbi. Ichiro may double Damon in SB and have about .25-.35 better avg. I'd say they are real close!
I thought Guillen was just injured last year? I guess I need more info there.......?
Duncan is like a career .260 minor leaguer. I think he has some legit power but he may struggle to hit above. .250-.260 if he gets regular time next year.
Anyway, just some of my thoughts about your thoughts.....
Another Blown Save wrote:Hawpe seems high. Out of curiosity, what do you have Hawpe projected for?
you know I thought the same thing right as I started to post this. I went back and double checked his minor league numbers and everything and hes had a real solid minor league career as well as a solid season this year. Also being in there with Holliday and Atkins he could produce fairly well again in '07. I think he could be anywhere from 25th-40th in OF rankings just because I have all those guys producing similar numbers.
.284
24
86
75
5
Overall pretty similar to last year but if he gets more ABs his numbers will be slightly better as he "only" had 499 ABs last year.

You have Francoeur at #23 and he is a hyped up Duncan. I like Duncan's lineup better than Francs too.
Guillen was hurt, but even when he wasn't he just plain stunk...I know I had him on many of my teams last year.
Matsui is rock solid but nothing spectacular, I think I'd rather get someone with more upside where you have him ranked. I'm not saying drop him to 30, but I'd take a couple of other guys over him.
I'd also still take Ichiro over Damon 10 times out of 10. If I could get Ichiro for Damon straight up I'd do that trade every time.

Solid comparison, I just think Francoeur has prove a little more than Duncan has and doing it at a couple years younger in age. I'm also not even fully sure that Duncan has a position locked up next year like Francoeur does??? Just one of those things I will need to keep an eye on when lineups and all the hot stove talks roll around.

He may have stunk, maybe because he was hurt, maybe not. But he has two consecutive solid years before last so I can see a solid rebound from last year. Just another thing to keep any eye on!

There might be a guy or two out there that I would take over Matsui but I like knowing that I can get .300 20+ 100+ 100+ without losing sleep about it!
I'd also still take Ichiro over Damon 10 times out of 10. If I could get Ichiro for Damon straight up I'd do that trade every time.
I'd say with these two its going to depend on if I need those extra SBs or not.
