As a Badger fan, I know a few alumni of the Band - they all had told me previoulsy of the debauchery that goes on there.
The Wisconsin Band is huge to those that go to the football games - when the football team used to be horrible, everyone just went for the band, their "5th Quarter" concert after the game is a big deal.
But seriously, it's a 100+ college kids, what would you expect?
Ok, so over under on how long it will take schools to eliminate band from being offered?
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Sometimes Florida State outsources its marching band. On some away games, they don't bring the band. Instead they hire some local university band and give them the sheet music to the florida state war chant. Maybe Wisconsin should do this.

Not sure if anyone knows this, but when Notre Dame rolls into town to play USC, they don't bring the band either. Instead, a local high school by the name of Notre Dame HS in Sherman Oaks plays there and it's interesting because the school has the same marching songs as ND, same exact uniforms as ND, but the only difference is that NDHS is called the Knights, not the Irish. It's funny when I was still matriculating at my alma mater, NDHS bombarded our school as if they were in fact, Notre Dame.
