where do you think he'll go in the draft next year? i got him projected at about 48 HR, 130 RBI next year, which ranks him my #3 1B. Where would you take him?

I'd say third round.

i got him in the 5th round. well it was pretty much round 4 cuz i had the last pick in the 4th and the first in the 5th. and i took richie second. my league was taking all the young pitchers high for some reason (webb and harden were both taken in the second round, and Willis was taken in the first.) i lucked out cuz they were making stupid picks.

Sexton is similar to Jim Thome and I got Thome this year in the 5th round.

depeneds on how big your league is.... if its a 2 team league ... i wouldn' draft him

Keep in mind that he is a free agent after next year. There is talk of the Brewers trading him this offseason or during next season, and he would fit nicely into the Giant's lineup. That would certainly elevate his draft status.
Price Fielder is nowhere near ready to take over the 1B responsibilities, but I think the Brewers Management just wants to free up the 8 million Sexson is owed next year.

5th round seems about right. I got him in the 8th in a 12 team league this year. I think he gets undervalued because of his low BA and the fact that he is a Brewer.

BTW I don't think going to SF would help him that much. PacBell is a difficult place to hit HR.
