This is for a regular 5x5 redraft league

.... it's early and some of this will probably change but it is what it is for right now......

1. Jose Reyes
2. Derek Jeter (I know, I know.... I hate the Yankees too and not to fond of Jeter but when I came up with my predictions they were just better than Tejada's, so were Rollins but I couldn't put him above Tejada. Jeter '07 = .312 15 85 120 25)
3. Miguel Tejada (.305 25 110 95 4)
4. Jimmy Rollins (.282 17 78 120 35)
5. Michael Young
6. Rafael Furcal
7. Troy Glaus (Like I said in my 3B rankings, not too fond of a .250 avg)
8. Hanley Ramirez (Could be up in top 5 but I need to see another year)
9. Carlos Guillen (Good steady production)
10. Bill Hall
11. Julio Lugo
12. Edgar Renteria
13. Felipe Lopez
14. Orlando Cabrera
15. Freddy Sanchez (Like I said in my 2B rankings, not high on him)
16. Stephen Drew
17. Jhonny Peralta
18. Troy Tulowitzki
19. Bobby Crosby
20. Omar Vizquel (Has seen less than 560 ABs ONLY ONCE in last 10 years)

others.....
Juan Uribe
Khalil Greene
David Eckstein
Alex Gonzalez
JJ Hardy
Yuniesky Betancourt

Pretty solid list, but you care to explain why Young is three slots above Guillen? I think the two are fairly similar stock wise.

Pretty good. I bet a lot of people will go Young before Rollins.

But you have to remember that when you draft Young, you automatically get ~160 games at SS, while when you draft Guillen, you hope to get 130

Well, fantasy-wise, Guillen outperformed Young last season. Young was better in '05, and the two were remarkably even in 2004. If you play in OBP or OPS leagues, then 2 of the last 3 years Guillen has been better. Factor in the fact that Young's stock can only go down if he moves teams and I think Guillen and Young are fairly even.

I think they are fairly close as well..... I actually could see my 5-9 be in any order when it is all said and done. Guillen has only had 2 seasons above 500 ABs where Young sees 650+.

Young '07
.310
20
90 rbi
110 runs
7 sb

Guillen '07
.305
19
85 rbi
95 runs
14 sb

Just something to keep in mind. Just because you might see one guy at one spot and another guy a couple spots lower doesn't necessarily mean they are sooo much different. Only 1 guy can be #5 or #6 and so on so don't get too caught up in the number. Like I said my 5th-9th ranked SS are all going to be close in my eyes, I just couldn't rank them all at #5. :-D
