Jeez not again.. another plane into a building in New York City.

A small aircraft has crashed into a high-rise residential building at 72nd Street and York in Manhattan, police said. Police are en route to the site, said to be at 525 E. 72nd Street. Flames and smoke could be seen pouring from the high rise apartment as fire engines raced to the scene.

Yeah, I was wondering if it was deliberate, then realized it's an 11th day of the month....

So sad, either way... but the pessimist in me feels it was deliberate.

Nah, this happens occassionally. Shortly after 9/11 a small plane crashed into a building in Tampa Bay. Everyone freaked out for a few minutes until they realized the pilot was just an idiot. I'm sure this is the same thing and the 11th thing is just a coincidence.

TO should probably be on the "no fly" list instead of Robert Johnson.

At least 2 people died in this crash. Not sure if they were occupants of the plane or the building.

The small plane hit the Bel Aire Condos. Not much of a strategic target unless you want to kill some doctors (hospital nearby).

Amazing that the market went way south around 3PM this afternoon. Just shows you how spooked investors are of terrorism.

They are now saying that the fire is out.

Wasn't that like a 16 year old kid who had a suicide note and everything?
You have no frame of reference, Donny. You're like a child who walks into the middle of a movie...
