Actually I would say this Yankee collapse should be largely attributed to Torre's managing, or unbelievable lack thereof.

Mgrs bring attitude imo. Leyland has always been my favorite. Piniella too. Nothing against Torre, but he's been there too long. You can only stay in one place so long.

Maybe, but I don't think the only thing this Yankee team is missing is a manager with attitude.
