The things that people are saying about Garrett Atkins' new found power seem eerily similar to what was said about Chad Tracy after he suddenly pounded 27 home runs in 500 at bats in '05. I don't know if he'd ever broken 10 before.
Chad's OPS went from the 700's ('04) to the mid 900's ('05) and then back down to the high 700's ('06). Yes, it was still 20 home runs but it took 95 more at bats to do it, and anybody who'd thought he might move into the 30+ range was surely disappointed.

Definitely nit-picky, but A-Rod isn't in a tier by himself anymore, and Miggy and Wright are significantly better than the rest of the 2nd tier. I'd put those three all in tier 1.

I'm suprised nobody is more questioning of Chipper 7th. I'm a huge fan of The Chip, but I can't see myself plucking up the courage to draft him. His foot injuries are a major concern and I don't like drafting guys I know I'm gonna have to find a replacement for. I'm expecting him to break down I guess.
I'd easily take Zim or Glaus and perhaps even Ensberg over him right now, but I hope he proves me wrong
Chad Tracy is lining up as a nice sleeper.......
