Granted, A-Rod has struggled the last couple years in the post season, but his career post-season numbers aren't bad at all.

Well....hang on.....can TO pitch? Might have to change my mind if he can.
TO cannot pitch.
He would fit in perfectly with the Rangers.
Ouch.
Well if he would agree to be paid in Canadian dollars, even the Marlins could afford him.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

You remember 2004? When he hit .421 in the division series? I sure do.
You remember 2005? When he only hit .133 but was able to draw enough walks to OBP .435? I sure do.
You remember 2000? When he hit .409 in the championship series against the Yankees, who eventually won it all that year? I sure do.
Remember the fact that he's a career .297 hitter in the postseason?
I sure do.
Remember the fact that he's been crucified based on 16 at-bats by you in this post?
I sure do.
You know how ridiculous you sound? I sure do.

So, if I understand your theory correctly (and I think that I do), A-Rod is worth every penny that the the Yanks are paying him just to keep him off of other teams so that he cannot hurt the Yanks with his postseason heroics?
