I think the answer is Arod and it's not really close. Arod has never blown up a team on purpose (he did hurt that Rangers with his contract, but that's not really his fault). I don't recall Arod ever claiming anyone on his team was gay. Pretty sure he's never gone to the extent TO has to throw a current or former teammate under the bus the way Owens has. He's never disrespected his opponent to the extent Owens has (In Dallas). I think a lot of the attention Arod gets he doesn't want, while TO loves it and plays to the media to get more of it. The only thing they have in common is both being great players that the media has a fascination with.
As someone who lives close to both the Rangers and Cowboys, I'd rather have Arod.
Well....hang on.....can TO pitch? Might have to change my mind if he can.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
They can both catch, but I'll give the edge to TO. I'd also say that arod has the better arm. The real difference comes that Arod can hit, while TO can only get hit. Clear winner here.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
