Kinda like the icecream bar scenario. 1 is outstanding, a 2nd is great, but by the time you eat that 4th one you're about sick and tired of icecream for a while. Having to manage 100 Minor Leaguers would be like pulling teeth (sans the Novacaine). Even if you were a genious and managed to corrall a whole boatload of Major League ready talent - there would be no place to put it - and what would you trade the excess for, more prospects or draft picks?
100 is simply overkill - and trying to find 20 dedicated owners no less that are willing to dedicate the time and effort to managing that monstrosity of a roster surely has to be daunting. It's one thing to get guys to say - "I'm in", its's totally another to get guys to say - I'm staying.
