My son just earned his 5th accelerated reading certificate (he's only in 2nd grade) ;-D

That's awesome. Reading to your kids and having them read to you is way too underrated. ;-D

Apparently they just had a reading evaluation test today. Our kid's in the 1st grade and his reading and comprehension is at a 5th grade level.....whatever the hell that means.

Pretty much. I've come to the realization that he may casually accomplish more by age 10 than I have in my 28 years. !+)

He's been trying to talk me into getting into it. I'd love to but I don't know if I'd have the time or not. This is the school. He'll be entering a tournament in Madison, WI in April.
