bump for AD.
I haven't updated my son's progress in taekwondo here lately. A couple weekends ago he was tested for his 2nd cup brown belt and passed. That makes him the youngest, and by far the smallest, brown belt at his school. It will be a while before he gets a chance to test for his 1st cup brown and another couple years from now till he's even eligible for his black. He has a national tournament here in Omaha later this month that he's pretty stoked about.
He's also in his first year of football. It's flag football and it's sponsored by the NFL so the practice jerseys, game jerseys, flags, etc. all have the NFL logo all over them. Each of the games is taped and broken down into a highlight film of sorts on DVD after the season. He's on the Rams and will be till he's old enough to play for his school (if he chooses). It's pretty cool. They stay in the same organization, same teammates, same families, coaches, etc. till this time. All the age levels attend the same practices and gatherings, so you're able to mingle with the coaches he will have in the coming years. He's having a blast and loves playing running back most of all, because he gets the handoff or pitch and gets to run like hell. Coverage is interesting. He's really good at sticking with his man...even after the play has gone elsewhere. He'll be staring at his guy and the ballcarrier will run right by him. We have to work on that. It's fun watching these 7-year olds run plays and see what works and what doesn't.
Anyway, that's the latest. Oh, and the school thing he's doing right now.
