Well, there is just one untied loop (female character) but you have closure on every single character and all answers revealed unlike shows like Lost and Heroes.

Yes but they didn't plan on shutting down Carnivale after that season either.

Yeah that is true...wait didn't they know with a couple episodes left? Maybe I'm confusing Carnivales situation with another show.

It took me about six episodes to really get into it, but it ended up being a fantastic series to rent. Highly recommended.

Definitely a bummer that the series had to end. There was still plenty of quality juice left to be squeezed out of this premise. Another interesting plot twist... the possible offspring?
