Paper on the 2005 A's

Postby Half Massed » Tue Oct 03, 2006 3:42 am

I have to write a 5000 word paper as if I was the GM of the A's as the 2005 season was getting out. I have to analyze our 40-man roster, make suggestions for the offseason and look at the 2006 player draft.

It's a fun paper to write, and I do have hindsight, although I wish I didn't because that would make it easier to write as if this was 2005. Do you remember anything from last offseason? Perspectives on players or ideas for the A's last offseason? I looked through our old threads and they were helpful, but only as things actually went down. I have the ability here to make anything happen (within fiscal and actual reason).

Thanks, I'm hoping to write an interesting paper. It won't be as exciting as some peoples' papers on their favorite team because I largely agree with the A's moves this past offseason. ;-D
