I did the list kinda fast, so I may have missed or left some guys out. First, I had a tough time deciding b/w McCann & Mauer, but if ya look at the 2 you could make arguements for both. What it came to, for me, was there runs scored. Mauer had like 25 more runs than McCann. Ya could argue that McCann had 9 more hr's, but, to me, Mauer was the best fantasy catcher this year, and I had McCann on my team too.

Ramon Hernandez is not on honorable mention for me, b/c he was way too streaky. His numbers look good, but they were done at spurts, not consistent at all.

Papelbon I didn't forget about him, but the fact he didn't finish the season hurt his status. He was one of the top 5 when he was hurt, but when I sat down to do this, the other guys on the list outweighed him.

Theriot, IMO, is not going to be Ryan Freel type player. He is a stud. I hope that everyone sleeps on him, so I can draft him in rd 20, and steal one of the best fantasy 2nd baseman next year.

Soriano was on the outfield list, didn't put him on the 2nd list, b/c he was an of'er in real baseball this year.
