I quite like the Padres' chances. The Cardinals are being held together by duct tape, then if SD wins that one, they've dominated the Dodgers all season, and whilst their lineup is nowhere near as good as the Mets,' their pitching is much better.

Obviously, I'm hoping that magic pixie dust sprinkles on the Cards and that they go all the way, but I don't believe in pixies. So, I'm taking the Pads over the Cards, the Dodgers over the Mets, and the Dodgers in the Series.
I wish the Cards could do it, but so many things need to suddenly change on this team for success to happen. Bullpen needs to instantly shape-up, consistent hitting up and down the line-up, someone besides Carpenter/ Suppan pitching well... Despite all this, I'll call for two upsets (LA isn't favored, are they?)
Cards over Pads
LAD over Mets
LAD over Cards
and then I have no idea who's coming out on top in the AL.
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

I don't see LA as the underdog against a Pedro-less Mets team. I think losing Pedro cost the Mets their chance at a ring this year.
