This is very exciting for me and cub's fans everywhere! Baker is sure to be gone and maybe even Hendry. The management is finnally changing.

Well, if it leads to Baker being gone I'm all for it. Though, Team Presidents are pretty powerless when it comes to baseball operations.

Chaning the chairs around will not solve the real problem, which resides with Cubs ownership. As long as the Tribune company is around and concerned about squeezing every dime out of the team and not with winning, it will be more of the same imo.

All I can say Cubs fans is, be careful for what you wish for.
I would have thought back to back winning seasons would have made Cubs fans happy as hell vs. the usual 4th- 5th place finishes .. I was very wrong. :-o

This is great news for any Cubs fans. This team needs to be torn down a la the Marlins and rebuilt.

the Cubs payroll is huge, they have one of the worst $/win in baseball. money is not the issue...

The Cubs better hope ARam doesn't opt out of his contract. Its taken them like 30 years to find a good 3B.
