Yahoo: Waiver open after season?

Postby Frappy » Sat Sep 30, 2006 10:49 pm

I need some Utility type players to plug in tommorow just in case because It's really that close in terms of production. I just want to know if I drop a guy like Tom Glavine would someone be able to pick him up on the 3rd? (Its a keeper league and I dont want to start building up other teams for next year) Thanks!

I'm sure someone could pick him up, but I highly doubt they would as a keeper.

Glavine has only 3 wins since the last week of June. He'll be 41 years old by opening day, 2007.

Are you sure YOU want to keep him?

Please help with mine....

Sounds more like a question you should ask your league. The season officially ends when the last out is recorded. Be it on Sunday or Monday. If your league follows those rules as far as free agent pickups, then no one will be able to claim a player after the last out of the regular season is recorded. None of us know how your league is set up though, so best if you ask your commish. If he doesn't know, then the league needs to get it figured out quick.
