What ya think Zim?

Visualization of the class of Pedro Martinez...nice.
70 year old man with a gimpy leg and a plate in his head...lets do a head grab and slam.

Non-issue. Pedro is in on the first ballot, no ifs, ands or buts about it.

Easy 1st ballot. His peak was insane and even if he never pitches again, his career wasn't too short either.
My apologies. I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee.

Visualization of the class of Pedro Martinez...nice.
Visualization of the class of Don Zimmer...not so much.
70 year old man with a gimpy leg and plate in his head...charges one of the smallest and most fragile pitchers in the game with no personal provocation whatsoever and Pedro simply let's Zimmer's momentum continue, in a move that a bullfighter would love, instead of punching him in the face - which Zim deserved and unquestionably should have expected for charging him.
I love Zim but there's a reason he apologized. He was at fault.

Poor fragile Pedro is 5 feet 11 inches tall and 180 pounds. That may be small compared to Clemens or most other MLB pitchers. It is still bigger than the average male.
Simply let his momentum carry him...come on. Most people can walk faster than Zim can run. Zim was wrong. It still does not make what Pedro did anything but what it is. He is a punk that has hidden behind his team mates for his entire career and the only person he has ever "fought" over it is a 70 year old man with a gimpy leg and a plate in his head.
